Dr. Debasish Chakraborty

Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Debasish Chakraborty is the Founder and COO of Global Scholastics, an educational consultancy supporting Indian students with study abroad placements, graduate finishing programmes, and corporate training in leadership, international trade, and finance. Prior to this, he served as Professor of Business and Dean at Seton Hill University and held senior academic leadership roles at Central Michigan University. Dr. Chakraborty has taught at several U.S. universities and has been a visiting faculty member at the University of Wales and the University of Queensland, where he received the Brooks Fellowship. His research focuses on international trade and finance and has been widely published. He holds a PhD in International Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

She has also taught at Saginaw Valley State University as an adjunct faculty member. She was a professor of economics and served as a consultant to Tata Consultancy Services. She also served as an advisor to East Delta University in Bangladesh.

Dr. Aniruddha Bonnerjee is an international development economist with over three decades of experience spanning Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Georgetown University and a BA from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. Dr. Bonnerjee has held senior roles at the World Bank, UNDP, and UNICEF, where he led major reforms in social protection, public finance, and inclusive development. His work includes designing Myanmar's first maternal and child cash transfer programme and pioneering the use of machine learning in social policy design in Nepal. A published author and policy advisor, he is recognized for bridging rigorous data analysis with practical, evidence-informed policy implementation.
